Company comes together to raise funds

Staff across the company put on a host of fundraising events over December all in aid of the East Anglian Air Ambulance.

Over £500 was raised through a host of activities from a Christmas raffle and Christmas jumper day to Guess the Name of the Festive Bear and hot chocolate tea breaks.

Organising the events, QHSE Officer Laura Rose says, “It was great to see everyone get involved from stores to engineers, accounts to welders.”

A company-wide charity-nomination and vote was held earlier in the year to consolidate the company’s charitable efforts to bring meaning and community to fundraising. East Anglian Air Ambulance is the company’s first chosen charity until October next year.

“Looking ahead we already have ideas of more fundraising events next year” Laura adds.
