Orders flood in from Seawork

Just eight weeks after exhibiting at Seawork, Prior Power Solutions has secured four new customers with ongoing discussions with more.

Exhibiting for the first time in over a decade, the engine and drive specialists from Great Yarmouth, Norfolk, picked up orders from customers across the country from as far afield as Cornwall and north-west Scotland.

Official dealers for big marine commercial brands such as Volvo Penta and Cummins, the company generated several dozen enquiries from Europe’s largest on-water commercial marine and workboat exhibition.

With the orders secured so far, and projects we are working on, we’re looking at tens of thousands of pounds worth of orders for parts and engines from this show” Stuart Holland, Parts and Engine Sales Manager confirmed.

Providing a wide range of engine maintenance and ship repair services nationwide, Prior Power Solutions is supporting the transition to cleaner power for marine commercial activities.

Speaking after the show, Service Manager Daniel Platten said, “Seawork was a great opportunity for us to catch up with so many of our service customers face-to-face.

“Being able to display a full-size Integrated Propulsion System, developed by Volvo Penta, on our stand was a real crowd-puller.

“Designed to enhance a vessel’s efficiency, control, speed and ease of use, it’s a system we’ve worked with several vessel operator/owners on and in discussions for new exciting applications and it’s really effective at saving fuel.

“Combined with diesel-electric hybrid options, this is definitely the way forward for sustainable power in the marine commercial world, and one we are at the forefront of supporting.”

“We’re looking forward to next year’s show already”.
