Success at marine commercial show

It was a busy week for the team at Seawork, Europe’s largest on-water commercial marine and workboat exhibition held in Southampton on 11-13 June.

Exhibiting for the first time at this 25th anniversary event, Prior Power Solutions’ stand featured Volvo Penta’s impressive integrated propulsion system on display.

Service Manager Daniel Platten says, “The IPS is a system designed to enhance a vessel’s efficiency, control, speed and ease of use. It’s a system we’ve worked with a number of end users on and in discussions with a number of new exciting applications and it’s really effective at saving fuel.

“Combined with diesel-electric hybrid options, this is definitely the way forward for sustainable power in the marine commercial world, and one we are at the forefront of supporting.”

Speaking after the event, Stephanie Pimlott, Marketing and Business Manager says, “Attracting some 7,500 visitors, this is the ideal show for us as we are so heavily involved in the marine commercial market.

“Not only did we get the chance to catch up with so many existing customers in one setting, but we had the opportunity to promote our services to potential new customers and have several exciting leads we are following up on.”
